Is Compromise Dying?

I agree that compromise has been dying for decades. The difference now is that redistricting and gerrymandering as created so many safe districts. Couple that with the fact that the electorate can stay encapsulated within their own perspective now more than ever. We have so many media sources with very specific demographics that individuals may not even see the other side of an argument unless they go looking for it.

We have individual set of facts and elected officials with no fear of losing office for failing to compromise. I think this is a new animal and not necessarily the same old same old bickering of the past.
