Protector of the Peace by Garveate Protector of the Peace by Garveate
"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing. "
Edmund Burke

With regard to foreign policy the US often seeks to serve as a protector of peace but often ends up being perceived as an aggressor or occupying force. ei- Iraq, Egypt, perhaps Syria and many more. Should the US take more of a isolationist stance in world affairs as opposed to the interventionist policies we now pursue?

Many patriotic images and the Presidential Logo/Seal has the Bald Eagle holing in one claw an Olive Branch of Peace and in the other claw the Arrows of War. Unfortunately this president lacks both the Common Sense and Wisdom to know when to use which or to just back off completely. . .

I believe that it is always a hard decision to make because blood and treasure on both sides of the conflict are at stake. However, this president unfortunately is not our first leader to have trouble in this area. Our recent history can attest to that.
